Sister taxa: Cimolodon agilis, Cimolodon electus, Cimolodon nitidus, Cimolodon peregrinus, Cimolodon similis, Cimolodon wardi
Type specimen: IMNH 50879, a tooth (right p4). Its type locality is H34D site (IMNH 2167), which is in an Albian/Cenomanian crevasse splay sandstone in the Wayan Formation of Idaho.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at H34D site (IMNH 2167)
