Type specimen: MNH 92-1-1, a skull (Skull and dentary). Its type locality is Entre Ríos, which is in a Messinian terrestrial sandstone in the Andalhuala Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Entre Ríos
