Type specimens:
- Konobelodon atticus: SNSB-BSPG-AS II 182, a maxilla (left maxillary fragment with DP2–DP3). Its type locality is Pikermi (old collection), which is in a Miocene fluvial horizon in Greece.
- Stegotetrabelodon grandincisivus:
Ecology: ground dwelling browser
Distribution:
• Turolian of Bulgaria (3 collections)
• Miocene of Greece (4), Türkiye (1)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
