Type specimen: IGPS 73798. Its type locality is Tomiya Shrine, which is in a Gelasian marine sandstone in the Kurotaki Formation of Japan.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer-deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Tomiya Shrine
