Sister taxon: Perakella shakhtauensis
Type specimen: AMNH 29069, a shell. Its type locality is Hambast Valley section MK, horizon K30, Abadeh, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Surmaq Formation of Iran.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore
Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 17.5
Distribution: found only at H.S. Lee Mine No. 8, Kinta Valley near Kampar
