Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: HMG-1219, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton with the skull and mandible). Its type locality is Shirafunenosawa River, Inasato (Locality 1), which is in a Maastrichtian marine siltstone in the Hakobuchi Formation of Japan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Shirafunenosawa River, Inasato (Locality 1)
