Sister taxon: Latagallina naracoortensis

Type specimen: WAM 15.9.6, a partial skeleton (associated remains of one adult individual, comprising the following elements: mandible, approximately 1.5 cm of tip; two vertebrae, one cervical, one caudal; 1). Its type locality is Leaena's Breath Cave, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial horizon in Australia.

Ecology: volant herbivore

Distribution: found only at Leaena's Breath Cave
