Type specimen: UWGM 2163, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Waukesha Lime and Stone Company quarry, which is in a Telychian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal mudstone/dolomite in the Brandon Bridge Formation of Wisconsin.

Distribution: found only at Waukesha Lime and Stone Company quarry
