Sister taxa: Entosphaeroides bilinearis, Entosphaeroides irregularis

Type specimen: Harvard Univ. 58255, Slide Sch-W-57-CF-10. Its type locality is 6.4 km west of Schreiber, which is in an Orosirian basinal (siliceous) chert in the Gunflint Chert Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at 6.4 km west of Schreiber
