Type specimen: IVPP V 26305, a partial skull. Its type locality is Dongzhang Village, Jiyuan City, which is in a Sharamurunian terrestrial horizon in the Niezhuang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Dongzhang Village, Jiyuan City
