Type specimen: DZP-20127, a valve (left valve). Its type locality is Outcrop 1, Tijuco Preto, Prudentópolis, which is in a Capitanian/Wuchiapingian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
