Type specimen: FHPR 13976, a partial skeleton (left dentary with P4-M3 and associated humerus). Its type locality is Willow Creek Rim Heliosus site, which is in a Bridgerian fluvial horizon in the Washakie Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser

Distribution: found only at Willow Creek Rim Heliosus site
