Type specimen: UF 297382, a limb element (right humerus). Its type locality is Banana Hole (UF collection), which is in a Pleistocene/Holocene sinkhole limestone in the Bahamas.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Quaternary of the Bahamas (3 collections), Cayman Islands (2), Cuba (3), Turks and Caicos Islands (1)

Total: 9 collections each including a single occurrence
