Type specimen: CPAP5916, a tooth (first lower left molariform). Its type locality is Mammal Quarry (Río de Las Chinas Valley), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian floodplain mudstone in the Dorotea Formation of Chile.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Argentina (2 collections), Chile (1)
