Type specimen: MACN 10617, a skull. Its type locality is Atlantic cliffs between Mar del Plata and Miramar, which is in a Chapadmalalan terrestrial horizon in the Pampean Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Atlantic cliffs between Mar del Plata and Miramar
