Type specimen: UM FVN 1, a tooth. Its type locality is Vauban cliff, Fouras Peninsula (B2ms), which is in a Cenomanian paralic claystone in France.

Distribution:
• Cretaceous of France (5 collections), Spain (1)
Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
