Type specimen: BMSC E 9644, a carapace. Its type locality is Hanley Quarry, Lewis Run, which is in a Famennian marine sandstone in the Cattaraugus Formation of Pennsylvania.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Hanley Quarry, Lewis Run
