Type specimen: ZPAL V.46/101p, a carapace. Its type locality is Tejra Quarry, Medenine, Unit 1, which is in an Illyrian fluvial-lacustrine claystone/sandstone in the Ouled Chebbi Formation of Tunisia.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Tejra Quarry, Medenine, Unit 1
