Type specimen: UPM No. 3/100, a partial skeleton (partial skull and skeleton with good forelimb). Its type locality is Right bank of Volga River, 8km east of Novaya Bedenga, which is in a Tithonian marine horizon in the Russian Federation.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Right bank of Volga River, 8km east of Novaya Bedenga
