Type specimen: SMC B20644, a partial skull (Upper and lower jaws). Its type locality is Ichthyosaurus campylodon type, which is in an Albian/Cenomanian marine horizon in the West Melbury Marly Chalk Formation of the United Kingdom.

• Cretaceous of France (6 collections), Germany (1), the United Kingdom (5)
