Type specimen: UCMP 34715, a set of postcrania (left metatarsal). Its type locality is UCMP V-3310, Black Hawk Ranch, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Green Valley Formation of California.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at UCMP V-3310, Black Hawk Ranch
