Type specimen: UCMP 30771. Its type locality is Hall (1963) locs. M-1 and M-2, Lead Canyon, within Mazourka Canyon, which is in a Trentonian marine limestone/quartzite in the Johnson Spring Formation of California.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder-photosymbiotic
Distribution: found only at Hall (1963) locs. M-1 and M-2, Lead Canyon, within Mazourka Canyon
