Type specimen: OU22806, an otolith. Its type locality is Cosy Dell Farm, which is in a Duntroonian estuary/bay horizon in the Chatton Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cosy Dell Farm
