Type specimen: IRSNB M.2330, a partial skull (Partial skull lacking the distal part of the ros- trum, some portions of the facial region, and most of the lateral parts of the basicranium.). Its type locality is Deurganck Dock, Doel, Kattendijk Member, which is in a Zanclean open shallow subtidal sandstone in the Kattendijk Formation of the Netherlands.

Ecology: aquatic piscivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Deurganck Dock, Doel, Kattendijk Member
