Type specimen: MNHAH D1-033516, a partial skeleton (dentary, surangular, teeth, vertebrae, coracoid). Its type locality is Aw14, Mitsugawa, which is in a Maastrichtian marine mudstone in the Kita-ama Formation of Japan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Aw14, Mitsugawa
