Type specimen: PVL 2610 (plastotype), a footprint. Its type locality is Mina de Los Rastros tracksite, which is in a Ladinian fluvial-deltaic sandstone/limestone in the Los Rastros Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Mina de Los Rastros tracksite
