Sister taxon: Coccodus insignis

Type specimen: Muséum de Genève V-674, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Hakel (Boissier collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon.

Ecology: nektonic durophage-carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Lebanon (2 collections)
