Sister taxa: Cyclobatis major, Cyclobatis oligodactylus, Cyclobatis tuberculatus

Type specimen: AUB C.413, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Hakel (AUB collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Lebanon (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
