Type specimen: CMM-V-5350, a partial skull (partial skull, lacking the frontals, nasals, palatines, and jugal bones. Right side of skull missing, except for maxilla and premaxilla regions). Its type locality is Windmill Point, which is in a Tortonian coastal horizon in the St Marys Formation of Maryland.

Ecology: amphibious piscivore-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Windmill Point
