Type specimen: IGM 11537, a skeleton. Its type locality is Tlayúa Quarry (IGM collection), which is in an Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Tlayúa Quarry (IGM collection)
