Type specimen: WM 2006/1/1, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Te Waitere, near, which is in a Whaingaroan coastal siltstone in the Glen Massey Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Te Waitere, near
