Type specimen: Geological Institute, Yokohama National University, GYNU-CMP-1037. Its type locality is Inkyoyama Hill, Izumi, which is in a Miocene marine sandstone in the Akeyo Formation of Japan.

Distribution: found only at Inkyoyama Hill, Izumi
