Type specimen: BSIP Museum No. 41373, a leaf. Its type locality is Thuligad, Tanakpur, which is in a Miocene fluvial shale in the Lower Formation of India.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Thuligad, Tanakpur
