Type specimen: NMMNH P-76870, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is NMMNH L-3650, Elephant Butte (lower), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial mudstone in the Hall Lake Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at NMMNH L-3650, Elephant Butte (lower)
