Sister taxa: Punka akoura, Punka caecata, Punka flabelliformis, Punka latissima, Punka nitidus, Punka teicherti, Punka verecunda

Type specimen: NMW 97.56G.92, a pygidium. Its type locality is Fossil horizon BB of Cowie & Adams 1957, which is in a Tulean carbonate grainstone in the Septembersø Formation of Greenland.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Ordovician of Greenland (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
