Belongs to Chaoborus according to V. A. Baranov and J. T. Haug 2021

Sister taxa: Chaoborus ciliatus, Chaoborus rarus, Chaoborus tertiarius

Type specimen: USNM 626053, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Kishenehn (Greenwalt collection), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Kishenehn (Greenwalt collection)
