Type specimen: USNM 208976, a tooth (right upper central incisor). Its type locality is Chappo Type Locality, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution: found only at Chappo Type Locality
