Type specimen: USNM 10639, a tooth (left upper central incisor). Its type locality is Carracas Station, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in Colorado.

Ecology: arboreal herbivore

Distribution:

• Clarkforkian of United States (1: Montana collection)

• Paleocene of United States (2: Colorado, Wyoming)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
