Type specimen: Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, SZT0013a,b, a leaf. Its type locality is Sanzhangtian, Zhenyuan, which is in a Miocene fluvial sandstone in the Dajie Formation of China.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Sanzhangtian, Zhenyuan
