Type specimen: Paleoecology Collections, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, MK3-1491, a leaf. Its type locality is Kajun, Markam (bed MK3), which is in a Priabonian fluvial siltstone/mudstone in the Lawula Formation of China.
Ecology: "photoautotroph"
Distribution: found only at Kajun, Markam (bed MK3)
