Type specimen: Slide PR-2-1 (16.8R, 17.7D); Plate 2, Figure 1, a microspore. Its type locality is PR-2, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial siliciclastic in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.

Ecology: "photoautotroph"

Distribution: found only at PR-2
