Type specimen: Amherst College 31-34, a mandible (both lower jaws). Its type locality is Van Tassel (Upper), which is in a Harrisonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Van Tassel (Upper)
