Type specimen: BADL 64042, a mandible. Its type locality is North Unit, Badlands National Park, which is in an Orellan terrestrial claystone in the Brule Formation of South Dakota.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at North Unit, Badlands National Park
