Type specimen: CAPPA/UFSM 0300 (a partial skull, partial lower jaw, some vertebral centra, and a fragmentary scapula). Its type locality is Faxinal do Soturno, Linha São Luiz, which is in a Norian fluvial siltstone/sandstone in the Caturrita Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Faxinal do Soturno, Linha São Luiz
