Type specimen: PMO 235.120, a skull (Head and anterior postcranium). Its type locality is Estheriahaugen North, Mimerdalen, which is in a Givetian marine ironstone/mudstone in the Tordalen Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

Distribution: found only at Estheriahaugen North, Mimerdalen
