Type specimen: AMNH 14340, a partial skeleton (a nearly complete skull, most of both epiplastra (though the posterior portion is obscured by matrix), the distal head of a humerus, a right radius, right perip). Its type locality is NW Pojoaque Bluffs, which is in a Barstovian terrestrial horizon in the Tesuque Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-herbivore
Distribution: found only at NW Pojoaque Bluffs
