Type specimen: NMMNH P-50000, a skull (nearly complete skull). Its type locality is NMMNH locality 6258, which is in a Campanian terrestrial shale/sandstone in the Kirtland Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at NMMNH locality 6258
