Type specimen: UF 280569, a partial shell. Its type locality is El Lirio Norte, which is in a Hemingfordian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Culebra Formation of Panama.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at El Lirio Norte
