Type specimen: UA13538 (complete exoskeleton). Its type locality is Ceratarges Horizon, Saredrar, which is in an Emsian/Eifelian open shallow subtidal limestone in the El Otfal Formation of Morocco.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Ceratarges Horizon, Saredrar
