Type specimen: UA 13467. Its type locality is Gerastos horizon, Mrakib, which is in an Eifelian marine mudstone/shale in the Taboumakhlouf Formation of Morocco.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Gerastos horizon, Mrakib
